In this project Alexandria University (AU) will be the leading institution in developing the new education and training programs in Museum Studies. It will be implementing the new programs as part of its postgraduate studies in the archaeology department of the Faculty of Art. Moreover, AU team will coordinate the selection of the artefact collections to be 3D scanned and modeled through the project and will contribute to the scanning process. It will also be utilizing its newly founded Virtual Reality Hall in presenting the 3D models that will be created through the project. AU will also take part in the dissemination and sustainability strategies of the project as well as its overall management. It will also utilize its links with other institutions involved in cultural heritage to maximize the benefit and reach different target groups.
